[WHAT WE SHOULD JUDGE WHEN WE JUDGE...]
LONELINESS, LOSS, REGRET, REDEMPTION:
FOUR(4)(IV)LECTURES ON THE RECALCITRANT HUMAN CONDITION, VIEWED THROUGH THE PRISM OF MODERN ART AS REFRACTED BY THE AESTHETIC OF THE ANCIENTS
On Sensation by Jake Hooker, or The Plastic Arts
Several aspects of writer/director/lecturer Jake Hooker's psyche go to
work attempting to elucidate the subjects of lyric Greek poetry and Roman art, and
something else -- topics very few people care about and he himself
knows almost nothing about. Thankfully, certain rogue elements
intercede on the behalf of theaudience, leading to more personal (and
present) ruminations on loneliness, on loss, on regret, on redemption
--on sensation. A lecture with audio/visual aids.
